“Stoned for 40 years.” Throughout his life Cloud Rock La Belle has found fulfilment in drugs and free love. On Maui he was a pioneer of the hippie generation and became an icon of the movement. He never paid any attention to his son Kaleo though. These days Kaleo lives in Switzerland and he invites his father to join him on a cycling tour through the USA. Kaleo wants to understand his father and to find out what has become of the hippies’ concept of freedom._Through this personal quest for meaning the director Kaleo La Belle develops a touching insight into a whole generation’s attitude towards life. The film’s captivating music was composed by Sujan Stevens and Raymond Byron Magic Raposa.
