AUFROLLEN – DEFEAT YOUR DEMONS

“On 13th December 2003 my best friend Philipp leapt to his death – my childhood also died with him. Since that day we - his old clique - stand by his grave every year and ask ourselves, ‘Did we miss something? Could we have prevented his suicide?’” In search of answers we accompany the old friends to the grave. Their stories, flanked with film footage from back then, bring the past back to life: skateboarding, friendship, music, drinking, the question of the future and the somewhat anchorless time before and after the school-leaving exams. They confront their own demons.
