The Alpine Film Festival is a film tour for all those who enjoy good films and like to hear stories from the mountains. In 2023, a selection of poetic to wild films will be shown again, in which alpinism as a cultural asset plays the main role. Triumph and tragedy, deed and idea, talent and teamwork, egoism and selflessness, joy and sorrow: alpinism unites borders, time and space.
The festival celebrates its opening with five films at DOK.fest München.
