Newsreel Archive (British Pathé)
I have worked at British Pathé for 7 years. I love the content that we have available to licence. British Pathé is considered to be the finest newsreel archive in the world and our archive spans the years from 1896 to the mid-1990s. Topics covered in the material includes major historic events from around the world, famous faces, fashion trends, travel, science, and culture. It is an invaluable resource for broadcasters, documentary producers, museum curators, and researchers worldwide. The entire archive of 220,000 films is available to view for free on the British Pathé website while licences can be acquired for other uses. We also represents content from partner organisations, such as Reuters' historical collection, and Spiegel TV.
