“Human beings are human insofar as they bear witness to the inhuman.” This sentence by Giorgio Agamben indicates how the films in the programme of the Student Award are meant to be watched. The films portray bitter stories and moreover prove the feather light line, the personal and the peculiar side of life in the world that we live in.
Memories from childhood: together a father and daughter imagine the ideal surroundings for their life. Now, as they did back then, they view rented houses in the most varied of locations without ever moving in. An experiment in images and sound about inherited dreams, the value of which lies precisely in the fact that they never become reality.
