Die Neue Sammlung, Pinakothek der Moderne / Loftcube

Virtual reality is everywhere. For a long time documentary films have been working with VR and 360°. At the same time this new form of media polarises opinion like no other. DOK.fest VR Pop Up Kino takes its lead from these current debates and presents documentary VR and 360° projects, open to all in the designer Werner Aisslinger’s Loftcube, in front of the Pinakothek der Moderne. The Best Of international documentary VR and 360° projects.

The selection was curated by Myriam Achard / Phi Centre Montréal (Canada). Myriam is responsable for the VR Garden, an exhibition for virtual reality works at Phi Centre.
 

MYRIAM ACHARD

A driving force in communications, Myriam Achard has more than 20 years of experience in public relations and press relations. For the past 10 years, she has worked with Phoebe Greenberg to develop and promote the Canadian and international avant-garde arts scene. She has been Director of Public Relations and Communications at the Phi Centre since it opened in 2012, and is Director of Communications for the DHC/ART Foundation for Contemporary Art.
