Documentary Campus Open Training Session International Coproduction
Documentary Campus and DOK.forum Munich present a new concept for international and interactive projects in the framework of the market place with a training character not only for the involved filmmaking teams and their projects but also for interested observers.
The Open Training Sessions consists of keynotes, expert advice on round-table style documentary project presentations and expert presentations for observers. Each Open Training Session day will have a specific focus: day 1 will concentrate on international coproductions and will be hosted by Jan Rofekamp (Films Transit International); day 2 will focus on interactive coproductions with host Mark Atkin (Crossover Labs).
For each day, DC, DOK.forum as well as Jan Rofekamp and Mark Atkin will select 5 projects to be presented to an expert jury consisting of 5 experts (commissioners, distributors, pitch trainer etc.).The round table sessions will be open for observers to attend and learn from the feedback given during the presentations. Furthermore, the jury of experts will give short presentations inbetween the project presentations to maximize the audience learning outcome from the Open Training Sessions.
