"From Morocco to Bahrain – one nation." This is just one of the countless slogans that were chanted in Cairo’s Tahrir Square during the revolution. Ahmed Rashwan’s very personal footage records the first four months of the Egyptian revolution. His two small sons can barely understand the events they see unfolding on the screen. Friends return from overseas in order to support the revolution. Tahrir Square is like a microcosm where all of Egypt’s widely ranging political beliefs and social attitudes are represented. Courage, frustration, desperation and hope are written all over people’s faces. Everyone is agreed that Mubarak must go and that fundamental social change must follow. But the revolution is still not over. Silvia Bauer
