So they set off on a search to find reasons why, despite the mafia, Berlusconi, sexism and piles off rubbish, it is still possible today in the home of Dolce Vita to lead a life worth living. An amusing, semi-documentary road movie with humorous collages, which affords us intimate insights into our favourite holiday destination and raises the ubiquitous questions of corruption and democracy - even in the middle of Europe.
