"In memory of all the wrestlers who have already passed away!" This is the toast that Ramin’s friends raise their glasses to on his 75th birthday. The Georgian wrestler made a name for himself by beating seven opponents in one fell swoop. He lives in Kvareli, a place famous for its red wine and its folk wrestling festival where even the children practice the art of Chidaoba. But it is not only his wrestling opponents that have lost out to Ramin over the years; women have also failed to conquer him. Now Ramin is ready to allow Sveta, the woman he fell in love with 50 years ago, to share his life. So he travels across Georgia to find her.
