Thoughts on filmmaking in the Global South
A think tank in which we exchange ideas on filmmaking in the Global South. Questioning who is allowed to/ should/ can tell which story? A question that in the past years not only led to more diversity and a more just representation of the Global filmmaking community, but also to discussions in curatorial teams selecting film projects for marketplaces and funding opportunities, and screening the films at film festivals. An open dialogue between filmmakers, producers and curators is much needed.
