Long before the term “diversity” was on everyone's mind, the DIN A 13 tanzcompany in Cologne, under the artistic direction of Gerda König, was developing mixed-abled performances with dancers with and without disabilities. Biography
Miriam Jakobs and Gerhard Schick studied theater, film, and television studies among other subjects in Cologne. Miriam Jakobs initially worked as a research assistant at the University of Cologne and at the HFF Munich before turning to filmmaking. Gerhard Schick began working as a writer, director, and producer immediately after completing his studies. The two have been a writing and producing team since 2007. Their work has received numerous awards.
