Laurie Townshend is a writer, director and educator. Credits include The Railpath Hero (‘13) and award-winning Charley (‘16). Laurie is in production with Oya Media Group and the NFB on Mothering in the Movement - a ‘coming-of-middle-age’ saga that follows renowned mother-activist Staceyann Chin’s journey to uncover the mysteries of her mother’s life, 47 years after having been abandoned by her.
