Berlin director Halina Dyrschka first studied acting and classical singing before completing her Master of Arts in Film Production. She then founded the production company AMBROSIA FILM. Her first short film as director "9einhalbs Abschied" was shown at over 40 film festivals worldwide and won more than 10 awards, including the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Murnau-Prize and the German Audio Film Award. Besides writing screenplays, she has spent the last 5 years intensively researching Hilma af Klint. JENSEITS DES SICHTBAREN is her feature film debut and the first film ever about the pioneer of abstraction.
