Studied Film and Theatre Sciences and English language and literature at the FU Berlin. Since 2000 Deputy Director of the Filmmuseum Munich and responsable for programming, events and public relations. Since 2006 member of the board of the German Association of Municipal Cinemas (Bundesverband kommunale Filmarbeit e.V.) and co-editor of the quarterly magazine Kinema Kommunal.
