Rita Argauer

Since her studies of theatre sciences, german philology and philosophy in Munich, Rita Argauer wrote articles for Süddeutsche Zeitung. Two years ago she started working as a salaried independent editor for the culture department. Her focus lies on classical music and every variety of uncomfortable pop music. For more than ten years she has been playing the piano in the post punk band Candelilla. In 2013 the band published the album “Heart Mutter” via ZickZack Records. They recorded it in 2012 at Steve Albini in Chicago.
