An award for the score of reality (5.000 Euro)

The documentary music award honours one composition every year, which relates in an extraordinary way with the narrative of a documentary. It provides a platform for the works of composers and the value of music as an additional means for the narrative in documentary films.

The prize is endowed with 5.000€. The awardees will be the team of filmmaker and composer. The Documentary Music Award is sponsored by Versicherungskammer Kulturstiftung and supported by the assistance fund of the German Association of Composers (DKV).

Award ceremony and screening on Saturday 6th May 2017
