Like every year, DOK.fest München 2024 opens up a view of the world: with 109 of the best and most current international documentaries from 51 countries. Our aim is to ensure the greatest possible participation in our films, which is why we bring them to the big screen in Munich cinemas and cultural venues as well as to home screens throughout Germany as barrier-free as possible: DOK.fest München stays dual!

The advance ticket sales start on Monday, 22 April. The accreditation has opened.

With the screening of this film, we want to give our audience the opportunity to meet Alexei Navalny again, whose legacy weighs heavily and will not be forgotten.

DOK.special: Israel-Palästina

History and context play an important role in the Israel-Palestine conflict. The film ROUTE 181 offers both and is an important contemporary document.

ROUTE 181 – FRAGMENTE EINER REISE IN PALÄSTINA – ISRAEL – ROUTE 181 (Belgium, France, Germany, United Kingdom 2003, Eyal Sivan, Michel Khleifi). Israeli director Sivan and his Palestinian colleague Khleifi capture the beginning of the current dramatic developments in encounters with inhabitants of the region.

DOK.education

The educational programme of DOK.fest München considers itself a "school of seeing", which combines media literacy and cultural education. It is aimed at children, young people, families and schools.
