The DOK.forum Perspectives offer a platform for dealing with media policy, aesthetic and technical questions.
In case studies, top-class panels, workshops or workshop discussions we discuss challenges in the industry and question narrative trends and the effects of technical innovations on the practice of filmmakers and the perception of the public.
We see ourselves as an interface between the industry and the festival audience and invite all interested parties to get to know the work of renowned or up-and-coming filmmakers and to exchange views on new trends in documentary film.
For the latest reason, the DOK.forum Perspectives cannot take place in the usual way. We are currently working on transferring our formats into virtual space in order to be able to offer the documentary film industry high-quality workshops and discussion rounds again this year. In order to give all members of the industry the opportunity to continue networking and training, the DOK.forum Perspektiven @home program will be free of charge. From April 20 you can find the digital formats here.
