In times when public funding is rare we are happy about any kind of support. Within over two decades, DOK.fest Munich became one of the worldwide most important venues for creative documentaries with feature length. We would like to continue inspiring the Munich audience year by year with the latest and most interesting documentaries from all over the world.
The association Internationales Dokumentarfilmfestival München e.V. organizes the International Documentary Film Festival Munich, together with the association Filmstadt München e.V. DOK.fest is a non-profit organisation. The aim is to promote documentary art in cinema and to further extend the International Documentary Film Festival Munich.
